Grand débat depuis plusieurs semaines sur Facebook et la confidentialité des données relatives au respect de la vie privée des individus.
En effet comme illustré par cet excellent Article du NYTimes (en Anglais), la critique se porte sur l’utilisation par Facebook des données personnelles partagées par l’utilisateur lors de l’enregistrement et pendant les échanges sur le réseau sociale. En fait rien de très nouveau et rien de très grave à mon avis… le problème est que le site offre 50 réglages possibles et 170 options pour gérer ces fameux paramètres de confidentialité, donc très complexe si l’on désire simplement se protéger contre l’utilisation de données relatives à sa vie privée. Le texte des modalités de confidentialité sur Facebook est plus important que la constitution américaine !!!
