Virgin Galactic sera l’une des premières companies à proposer au grand public des voyages dans l’espace. C’est incroyable mais tout à fait possible – à priori dans 18 mois. La vidéo ci-dessous explique très bien l’expérience du voyageur. La plateforme de lancement est constituée de 2 vaisseaux (SpaceShip 1 et SpaceShip 2). SpaceShip 1 est l’avion porteur, SpaceShip 2 aussi appelé Space Ship Enterprise est la navette qui ira en orbite avec des passagers à bord. SpaceShip 2 est en fait logé au milieu de SpaceShip 1.
